The Georgia BioGENEius Challenge is a competition for high school students who are doing outstanding research in biotechnology. The competition is typically held during the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair (GSEF) in Athens, Georgia. Due to the virtual format of the 2021 GSEF competition, the Georgia BioGENEius competition will be held virtually on Friday, March 26th, 2021.

Challenge Application Close Date:          3/12/2021

Eligibility

Students must submit an independent, original research project by Friday, March 12th, 2021. The top 8 projects will be selected to present during the virtual competition on Friday, March 26th, 2021.

The GA BioGENEius judges will select to 1 winner and 1 alternate for the National BioGENEius Challenge competition to be held during the 2021 Digital Biotechnology International Conference, June 10-11 & 14-18, 2021 .
