Individual Membership ($90)

Individual Membership is offered to such individuals as educators, students, scientists, and biotechnology leaders. Specific benefits include:

  • Opportunities to meet and network with other members at such meetings as an exclusive Membership Networking Reception

  • Invitations to meetings such as the “Building Biotech Bridges” Conference and Annual Award Banquet at member prices

  • Eligibility for funding to attend National Biotechnology Teacher-Leader Program.

  • Access to biotechnology education publications such as Shoestring Biotechnology and Your World Magazine, at member prices.

  • Access to biotechnology education news through the New Digest e-newsletter

  • Opportunity to distribute member’s news in Institute publications such as the News Digest and Your World and through links to Institute website

  • Eligibility to be selected for one seat on Membership Steering Committee that guides membership policy.

  • Eligibility to be selected for one seat  on the Public Issues Advisory Committee on Societal Implications of Biotechnology

  • Eligibility to be selected for one seat on the Outreach and Education Committee in community of the BIO convention.

  • Opportunity to present at conferences and events such as the “Building Biotech Bridges Conference” and the International Conference on Biotechnology Education, as appropriate.
